The ADAPT switch is an easy way of connecting sensors and sources to measuring equipment such as platinum resistance thermometers (PRTs) to a temperature indicator.

It can be used as a switch box to add an extra input channel, as a breakout box to allow universal connections to a specific instrument socket, switching inputs for calibration by simulation, and calculating lead resistance when connecting 3-wire PRTs to a 4-wire input.
